In class we were having lessons on how to use photoshop to improve the appearance of the images. We began by learning the basics of using photoshop by creating 'layers' learning to save the image as a Tiff file or Jpeg when necessary. With the images that i had chosen i opened them in photoshop and began to test and play around with some of the editing styles we had learnt in lesson such as 'colour balance', 'levels and curves', different selection tools eg. 'magic wand' and 'lasso tools'. We also learnt how the transform an image or add a filter to it and how to flatten an image. This gave me alot of help on making the image look the best it possibly can which would make it more attractive and apealing to the reader.
